All cats appear very well cared for and have such soft fur! They all seem very happy :) Staff know the cats very well and share their stories. Quiet atmosphere. Cats are able to escape to a place without people if they want to. Hot drinks with lids can be taken into the cat areas. While we were there, some cats played with feather sticks, some slept on laps, some climbed and interacted with each other. All were friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and look forward to going again!!

A home for our furry friends in need. A place where you interact with cats and kittens while enjoying a freshly made beverage. Unfortunately not a spur of the moment thing as you need to make an online booking in advance. Friendly and caring staff, eager to share their passion.

I have been visiting Purrs & Beans since they were BaristaCats on Queen Street, and I will without a doubt continue to visit as long as I am able. Shane and Faith-Ashleigh are incredibly kind people with so much love for these cats, which is so clearly reflected in the atmosphere of the cafe. The cats have so much space to roam, as well as ample area away from visitors if they don't want to interact. There is plenty of seating for visitors, helpful information in both booklets and on the walls, and the coffee is aways a hit Every visit is different depending on how each cat is feeling at the time, but I always leave feeling happy and with my pet-meter full

Lovely cat cafe. Staff were all friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable on information about their cats and their well-being. Loved that they take in most often cats with disabilities and health conditions- as someone who has a wobbly cat at home this was heartwarming to see other disadvantaged cats so happy and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend booking in and coming along to spend time with the variety of characters of kitties at Purrs & Beans.

Came here a couple times and loved it! Staff are very kind and friendly and the kittens are super sweet! Be careful not to want to take all of them home, but its a risk worth taking :)

Best cat cafe I've been to! I ordered a soy hot chocolate, it was delicious! The cats were all super cute and snuggly. Mango and Gigi were my favs, orange cats are the absolute best!!! This place has a catio so althought they are indoor cats, they still get to enjoy being outside for fresh air! I ended up spending another hour snuggling with the cats, less people and more quiet. Two people plus two drinks and an extra hour was just a bit over $100. Absolutely worth it for the lovely kitties.

I have been visiting Purrs and Beans for about 4 years now, and it is my home away from home and my furr family. I adore the cats and cat slaves alike! Spending time with these beautiful kitties is wonderful cat therapy and so good for the soul! Come alone or come with others - it does not matter. They have Mewvie nights and Hobbies with Cats nights on some Fridays. They sell the cutest cat merchandise as part of their way for helping cover costs of caring for their permanent resident cats. They also foster kittens / cats and they adopt them out while following a strict process to ensure the cats are matched to the correct homes. Faith-Ashley, Shane and their team always put the cats needs first and take amazing care of them. The cafe also has a batista service with a variety of things to drink as well as basic things to eat like cookies, donuts, gluten free items, Macarons etc. Absolutely worthwhile Cat Cafe to support!

Wonderful place I would recommend to any of my cat lover friends. Can't comment on the cafe side of things as it doesn't run during red light COVID settings. However, it was still lovely to play with the resident cats for an hour, all of whom have some sort of disability. There were people turning up who clearly had visited heaps and knew all the cats names, therefore I think it's a great place for those who would love a pet in their life that can nessicarly have one. There is also an adoption area with kittens which you get ten minutes in. Would recommend going in the morning rather than afternoon for cats to be more active.
